Frequently Asked Questions
Are you confidential?
The best answer is: WE TRY TO BE.
It depends on how and which activities you engage with on our platform.

ONLINE SUPPORT GROUPS: During our online support group virtual session we ask everyone to turn on their video if they have it to support everyone building community.
SOCIAL MEDIA: If you follow us on our social media then others can see your handle when you like or comment on our posts.
MEMBERSHIP ON WEBSITE: You can create an anonymous profile if you wish.
E-MAILS DIRECTLY TO FRONTLINE BADDIES: 100% confidential. Only founders have access to read and respond to the e-mails.
How do you choose facilitators for the support groups?
We hand pick facilitators we have worked with on the frontline and who we know and trust to handle facilitating a group session.

We also make sure to match the facilitator with their speciality. Meaning our group for Struggles of BIPOC Women in frontline work is facilitated by a BIPOC Women. That our group for Combating Harmful Impacts of Colonization in the Workplace is facilitated by an Indigenous person. That our group for Sober FrontlineBaddies is run by a person who has been Sober.

We believe in our frontline baddies. We know that many of you have experience in areas that you cannot receive a diploma or degree in. We value this experience.
How expensive is the Online Support Group?
At this point in time and due to COVID, we know that many are struggling to get by. We have a sliding scale. We ask for approximately $27 per session. We do also have free seats for individuals who cannot afford this expense. If all of the free seats are taken, please reach out and we will set you up with one.
Why do you charge money at all?
Running the website costs money sadly. Also, we believe that people should be paid for their work. We have no intention of making money doing this. Our intention is to pay our facilitators for the hard work it takes to create a dynamic support group. The money you are giving is going to the facilitators and to cover the website costs.
Are you Certified Counsellors?
NO!
We cannot stress this enough. We are NOT Counsellors. We might bring on group facilitators who are, but the founders of Frontline Baddies are NOT counsellors.
We are frontline workers and we know what we are struggling with. We know that we are not alone with some of our struggles. We want to create a community that doesn't rely on the higher barriers of counselling. We are not here to counsel people. We are here to support people.

If you disclose suicide ideation we will have a private discussion with you where we try to connect you with appropriate resources.
